Sparkle a little bit more

This collection of beautiful projects will show you how to create eye-catching sparkly jewellery along with a Christmas tree bauble ornament, all made using popular and easily-available sizes and shapes of beads. This book is an improved version of my first book called Sparkle a little bit every day. It contains everything from the first book, rewritten and with a better layout, along with some more patterns added, hence the name.The book starts with the really useful stitch called right angle weave, which it then builds on to make increasingly ornate jewellery by adding first a seed bead edge then various forms of embellishment with more seed beads and crystal bicones, always taking you step-by-step through each process with lots of diagrams and detailed written instructions so you can't go wrong. Three pearl and crystal cuff bracelets each have a beaded toggle clasp and a pair of matching earrings. There are five seed bead ropes which are all formed in the same way but using different types of beads on the outer edge so each one looks like a different pattern, then you will use one of these ropes to hold a large pendant with a triangular bail made from crystal bicones. There is a choice of three pairs of earrings to match the pendant. Finally there is a Christmas tree bauble, a beaded cover for a bauble that uses multiple pieces of one of the bracelet patterns and adds a dramatic fringe to produce a real showstopping ornament for on your Christmas tree or to hang from the mantlepiece or in a window.Be warned, though: jewellery making can be a rather addictive hobby!
