Avago / LSI 9300-8e flashed to the latest IT-Mode (Initiator Target) firmware version P16 (specifically 16.00.12.00). We also flashed the LSI/Avago MPTSAS3 BIOS ROM version 08.37.00.00 and UEFI 18.00.00.00 so that it is easier to access the controller's ROM without booting an OS.
